LLF's Alexander Passo Named a "40 Under 40" Illinois Attorney to Watch by Law Bulletin Media

This designation, awarded to only 40 attorneys out of over 1,000 nominations, is well-deserved, given Alex’s consistent success representing businesses and individuals in a broad spectrum of commercial litigation and professional liability matters. However, it isn’t just his effective advocacy that distinguishes Alex. Concentrating his practice in complex commercial litigation, Alex represents clients in matters involving internal business disputes, breaches of contract, fraud, emergency business litigation, unfair competition, and professional negligence. A hallmark ofAlex’s practice is handling matters that have difficult and complex facts which are often ripe for trial. As a result, Alex tries several cases a year in multiple jurisdictions.

Alex’s inclusion on the 2025 “40 Under 40” list is just the latest in a lengthy collection of accolades from his peers, including appearing on SuperLawyers’ list as a “Rising Star” before being elevated to the “Super Lawyer” designation several years in a row. Alex is a graduate of Purdue University and earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.
