Organized, pragmatic, and relentlessly focused on achieving her clients’ goals, Katie takes a thoughtful, deliberative approach to each case. Her counsel incorporates not only the facts and law of each matter, but also considers how a given strategy will impact her client’s broader legal, financial, and reputational concerns. Katie brings this perspective to the full spectrum of complex commercial and business litigation, including contract disputes, commercial loan and mortgage litigation, antitrust litigation, business torts, and fraudulent transfers. Her clients span multiple industries, including financial, real estate, technology, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, and healthcare.

Katie’s litigation practice and her effectiveness as a litigator are informed by her extensive work on internal and governmental investigations, including those initiated by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. In this capacity, Katie developed a deep appreciation for how thoroughness and mastery of all relevant facts can be the key to achieving successful outcomes in the courtroom and at the negotiating table. Similarly, she takes the time needed to develop a full understanding of each client’s way of doing business, their pressure points and priorities, and their long and short-term goals. By doing so, she ensures alignment between her efforts and each client’s expressed interests and objectives.

When not serving clients, Katie enjoys reading, gardening, doing home improvement projects, and spending time with family and friends.
