A seasoned business attorney who becomes a trusted counselor to clients who become friends, Jim Pittacora brings a pragmatic approach and blue-collar work ethic to his representation of companies and individuals in a wide range of corporate, transactional, real estate, and litigation matters.

Jim recognizes that the value of his counsel to clients directly correlates to the value he places on listening to them. By developing a complete picture of what matters to his clients, what concerns them, and what they want to achieve, he can tailor his guidance and approach in a way best suited to their needs and goals.

Small to mid-size, closely held entrepreneurial businesses and high-net-worth individuals turn to Jim for assistance with their most consequential matters. An accomplished trial lawyer, Jim represents clients in complex civil/commercial litigation, including mortgage foreclosures, mechanic's liens, breach of contract cases, construction litigation, business torts, real estate, forcible entry and detainer, and closely held corporate disputes. Jim also has experience litigating matters before the NASD, NYSE, and AAA.

Jim has a robust real estate practice, leveraging his deal-making acumen on behalf of real estate developers and individuals in matters involving all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, ranging from acquisition to financing to development to disposition. Active in his Orland Park community, Jim contributes his time and efforts to a variety of youth athletic and recreational programs. When not serving his clients or community, Jim enjoys coaching youth baseball and spending time with his family.
