Legal Assistant
Latimer LeVay Fyock LLC, Chicago based law firm, is seeking an experienced Administrative Legal Assistant to play a pivotal role in assisting attorneys in our Litigation and Estate Planning Practices. www.llflegal.com
REQUIREMENT: LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities:
- Draft Engagement Letters.
- Provide Litigation Support.
- Prepare and edit legal documents and correspondence including letters, memos, briefs, pleadings and reports.
- Probate Documentation.
- E-filing approved documents on various court portals.
- All other administrative and support tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of administrative Legal Assistant experience, working for multiple attorneys.
- Litigation experience preferred.
- Estate Planning experience preferred.
- Probate experience preferred.
- Trust Administration experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-filing systems, document management systems and billing systems.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.

- Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices as the position evolves and Firm needs change.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, set priorities, manage time efficiently, and exhibit excellent follow-up.
We offer competitive compensation, generous paid time off, medical benefits (group health insurance with employer contribution), a 401(k) plan, and a casual and congenial work environment. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000, subject to experience.
