Charanne M. Papuga

For Charanne Papuga, the courtroom is like a second home. A third-generation attorney, Charanne is a skilled and successful litigator who leverages her talent for crafting compelling arguments, well-honed advocacy skills, and substantial real estate experience to advance and defend her clients’ interests in a wide variety of actions involving commercial and residential properties.

Charanne brings almost 15 years of experience to her practice, which currently focuses on representing lenders in litigation involving commercial real estate. She complements a collaborative spirit with a take-charge approach to the matters on her docket, which has included representing lenders in residential litigation, foreclosures in both state and federal court, mechanics lien claims, and appellate cases.

Immersing herself in the details of each case but ever cognizant of the bigger picture and her clients’ broader interests, Charanne serves not only as an effective trial lawyer but also as a strategic advisor who develops and maintains enduring professional relationships. Her success in real estate litigation is a product of her persuasive advocacy as well as her substantial and diverse transactional experience. Charanne has managed a title company overseeing title claims and other title issues and has represented both individuals and lenders in residential real estate closings.

When not serving her clients, Charanne enjoys watching her twin sons play baseball and basketball, paddleboarding on the Lake (weather permitting), traveling, and doing yoga.
