Donna M. Shaw

With a robust and diverse transactional, financing, and real estate background, Donna Shaw leverages her keen business sense and strong analytical, organizational, and deal management skills to help a wide range of clients achieve their business objectives. Donna understands what it takes to get a deal done and what it means for her clients to know that they have a trusted, responsive ally and advisor who truly listens to them and keeps their interests top-of-mind at all times. The strong and enduring client relationships she develops are a testament to both her talents and her personal commitment to her clients’ success.

Donna focuses her current practice on the representation of clients in commercial real estate and financing transactions, including the purchase and sale of franchise businesses. Her clients reap the benefits of the perspectives and insights she gained shepherding large, complex acquisitions, financing, and real estate transactions to consummation on behalf of purchasers, sellers, borrowers, lenders and other interested parties. This experience has imbued Donna with an appreciation of how critical it is to be flexible, adaptable, and prepared during the course of a transaction, with its inevitable twists and turns and changing circumstances and priorities.

Before joining Latimer LeVay Fyock, Donna devoted a significant portion of her practice to secured lending and commercial real estate sales and acquisitions. She represented financial institutions and borrowers in asset-based financing and real estate lending involving acquisition financing, construction loans, and lines of credit secured by shopping centers, office buildings, apartment buildings, hotels, and student housing developments.

When not serving her clients, Donna enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and friends and gardening.
