Partner Holly L. Carto provides responsive, accessible, and trusted representation for banks, financial institutions, and investors who rely on her counsel in loan collection matters and the resolution of troubled loans.
Always focused on accomplishing her clients’ objectives, maximizing recoveries, and minimizing risks, Holly has participated in thousands of commercial and residential mortgage foreclosures and loan workouts, including loan modifications, forbearance agreements, consent foreclosures, and deeds in lieu of foreclosure. A skilled courtroom advocate, Holly represents clients in building code actions, lien priority disputes, and title claim issues. She also protects and advances the interests of creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
A graduate of Marquette University, Holly earned her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Active in many professional organizations, she likes to spend her time playing tennis when not serving her clients.

Reviews and negotiates real estate sales contracts and consummates the contemplated transactions.
