Jeff Altshul

An experienced banking and transactional attorney, Jeff Altshul understands what his clients need: problems resolved, interests protected, and deals closed. Jeff consistently accomplishes these objectives in a wide range of matters for financial institutions and other clients who turn to him for his creative and actionable counsel.

Jeff’s practice includes commercial finance matters, asset-based and cash flow lending, leasing, real estate workouts, foreclosures, and bankruptcies. He represents financial institutions on complex transactions and workouts, and works with lenders, borrowers, and investors to implement effective strategies for the purchase and sale of distressed loans and businesses. Jeff also does a substantial amount of transactional work, including the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, and represents creditors’ committees in bankruptcy proceedings.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Jeff earned his law degree from Drake University Law School. When not serving his clients, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family.
